She thinks Amazon is a game changer, does not agree with the motto “fake it ‘till you make it”, and hopes to some day create a universally renowned project.
Meet our new marketing intern, Juanita Lin.

- What does a brand mean to you?
A spirit that has its own identity.

- Favorite quote?
“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.”

- Favorite song?
There are so many, but “The Blower’s Daughter” is my all time favorite.

- What is one thing you want to do before you die?
Since I already have been skydiving, I really want to try bungee jumping.

- What inspires you?
Any person or any thing I like. Sometimes some person/thing I dislike inspires me too by reminding me not to become that.

- What brand, person, or idea do you consider to be a game-changer?
I would say Apple if I was asked this question a few years ago. Now it’s probably Amazon.

- Where do you see yourself in five years?
I don’t really know yet. I tend not to have a specific plan for my future. But I do wish to have a great idea and enough support to start my own business. That idea and business has to be something I have passion for.

- First day impressions of the office?
Before my first visit, I imagined it was an office with yellow lighting. So I was a little bit surprised when finding it’s actually with white lighting. And I like how the office is loft-style, which is something I rarely see in my country.

- I can’t live without _______.
A few of my best friends.

- It’s 5pm. You’re free! What do you like to do outside the office?
If there is nothing special to do, I’d just want to get on the B Line towards home at Copley Square ASAP, because it’s crazy there during peak time. Otherwise, I would walk to the places (mostly Downtown) to meet up with friends.

- What is your simple truth?
Be real. Don’t be fake.

- What are your goals for growth within the marketing/branding field?
Create some universally renowned projects.
